Welcome to the United States. Their loss is our gain.
I hope we will see each other soon - most probably the next time
there is a suitable meeting in Boston, but I hope the opportunity
will arise for you to visit Stanford.
I don't suppose you have landed on your feet so quickly as to
be able to attend the WG2.2 meeting in Tampere this month; I am
going for the first time in many years.
Do you have a reasonable job? If not I will try to help,
although I have no specific ideas.
Enclosed are preliminary drafts of two papers that might
interest you.
If it was intentional to write CSSR (Russia), it wasn't
my intention. I think someone confused CSSR with USSR, and the
confusion was linguistic and not political.
